Family member of fallen Cold Spring, Minn., police officer Tom Decker
Decker was shot in the head and killed Nov. 29 when he responded to a call check on a potentially suicidal man behind a bar in Cold Spring, a small town (pop. 4,043) about 45 miles northwest of Minneapolis. Decker said he had his 鈥渄ream job.鈥� A man who was questioned several times in the case committed suicide when the police sought to bring him in to explain inconsistencies in his story.
