Suffice it to say, the president must not be sleeping well. As if the investigations into the Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attack weren鈥檛 enough, now the Justice Department is answering questions about why phone records from the Associated Press were subpoenaed 鈥� and, yes, the White House is grappling with the IRS鈥檚 actions.
Before this, the Obama administration had largely escaped scandal. But now, with the IRS revelations in particular, it has what appears to be a bona fide scandal on its hands.
As , 鈥淭he IRS developments couldn鈥檛 come at a worse time for the White House, which has spent months courting GOP support for everything from gun control to an overhaul of immigration laws. If the administration鈥檚 recent GOP charm offensive bought any goodwill, it seems to be on short supply now.鈥�
