President Obama went on 鈥�The Tonight Show with Jay Leno鈥� in March 2009 as part of a series of appearances to discuss the Recovery Act 鈥� the government鈥檚 response to the recession. Obama also took this message to 鈥�Late Night With David Letterman鈥� in September of 2009, an episode in which he was the only guest.
Obama also appeared on 鈥�The View,鈥� an ABC daytime talk show, in July.
