China

As a House Intelligence Committee member, says China uses lasers to blind US satellites and is a 鈥渂ad actor鈥 in the international trading system. But also says she鈥檇 emulate the Chinese social model by ridding the US of the 鈥渕odern welfare state.鈥

Middle East

Dismisses the Arab Spring as allowing 鈥渢he rise of radical elements鈥 and says the end result will be 鈥渘uclear war against Israel.鈥 Decries Obama鈥檚 call for negotiating a Palestinian state based largely on 1967 borders as showing 鈥渃ontempt鈥 for Israel.

Terrorism

Claims the CIA no longer interrogates suspected terrorists and says she鈥檇 authorize waterboarding to extract information. Says the US can鈥檛 afford to lose Pakistan since it is the 鈥渆picenter of dealing with terrorism.鈥

Defense spending

Says defense cuts should be 鈥渙n the table鈥 but through 鈥渕odernizing鈥 procurement and not by shortchanging troops.
