'Iron Man 3' will be released internationally in IMAX in April
One of the most important is whether or not Marvel Studios can build on its post- momentum with this next round of solo character films, and聽 has the distinct (honor? Challenge?) of being the first guinea pig out of the pen.
Never one to hedge their bets, Marvel Studios is taking some additional steps to make sure their flagship solo character franchise sees some good returns at the box office, by releasing the film early, exclusively in IMAX 3D.

IMAX Corporation and MarvelEntertainment -聽a division of The Walt Disney Company -聽today announced that 惭补谤惫别濒鈥檚听Iron Man 3鈩�, the latest installment of the film franchise that has grossed more than $1.2 billion at the global box office, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX庐 聽3D format and released to IMAX庐 聽theaters internationally starting April 25 and domestically on May 3.
The IMAX 3D release of聽惭补谤惫别濒鈥檚听Iron Man 3聽will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience庐 聽with proprietary IMAX DMR庐 聽(Digital Re-mastering)聽. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX鈥檚 customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie. As noted in the release, it will only be international audiences who benefit from this April 25th IMAX release; U.S. moviegoers still have to wait until聽Iron Man聽reaches our shores on May 3rd. 聽For those still unaware about what the film is all about:
