'Hugo' and 'War Horse' aren't the only family films to get recognized with Oscar nominations
The 1965 film won the Best Picture award and the Best Director prizes for Robert Wise and star Julie Andrews was nominated for Best Actress for her role as governess Maria. When Andrews was running towards the von Trapp house during the musical number "I Have Confidence," she tripped, but Wise felt that this showed how nervous Maria would be and decided to use the take.
