India ties slain militants to April attack that sparked clashes with Pakistan.

A government minister in India says three suspected militants killed in a gunfight in Kashmir were responsible for a massacre earlier this year. Home Minister Amit Shah says that the Pakistani nationals were killed Monday in a joint operation near Srinagar. Mr. Shah said that forensic reports show that the rifle cartridges found match those used in the April 22 attack on Hindu tourists. The massacre led to military clashes between India and Pakistan. There has been no immediate response from Islamabad.听
