"Ninety Days" writer Clegg's novel tells the story of June, whose daughter and ex-husband, among others, die in a house fire the night before June's daughter's wedding. The story looks at the events after the fire, including the question of where June was when the fire occurred. Nelson says the book reminded her of Russell Banks's work "The Sweet Hereafter."
