Dostoevsky's last novel is considered by many readers to be his greatest work. "'The Brothers Karamazov" follows three very different brothers who are brought together after their father 鈥 a ne'er-do-well who was often a burden to others 鈥 is murdered, and the brothers are forced to examine their relationship with him. Through the three brothers and their story, Dostoevsky grapples with questions of God, faith, free will, doubt, human suffering, and reason.
