After reading about how unhealthy it is to sit for much of the day, Jacobs put his laptop on top of a box and his treadmill behind the box so he could walk and type. Jacobs said he's enjoying the strategy, although it felt odd at first. "Now I found walking while working actually helps hone my focus," he wrote. "When I'm sitting, I'm fidgety.... With my treadmill desk, I'm getting rid of all my nervous energy."
