A famous actor has been cast as the lead in the upcoming TV adaptation of Stephen King鈥檚 novel 鈥11/22/63.鈥
According to Entertainment Weekly, James Franco of 鈥淭he Interview鈥 will play protagonist Jake Epping in the Hulu adaptation of King鈥檚 novel.
As we previously reported, the series will be nine hours long and Bridget Carpenter of 鈥淧arenthood鈥 is adapting the book for the small screen.聽
The novel tells the story of an English teacher who goes back in time to try to stop the Kennedy assassination.聽
Franco recently directed a film adaptation of 鈥淭he Sound and the Fury鈥 as as well as 鈥淎s I Lay Dying鈥 and has also starred in such films as 鈥淭his Is the End鈥 and 鈥淥z the Great and Powerful.鈥
