Texas A&M rallies to beat Notre Dame for NCAA women's crown
Texas A&M, behind all-American center Danielle Adams, overcame a second-half deficit to defeat Notre Dame for the school's first NCAA women's basketball national championship Tuesday night.

Texas A&M rallied to win their first-ever Tuesday night against Notre Dame, 76-70, in front of a largely pro-Fighting Irish crowd in Indianapolis.
The game's most outstanding player, the Aggies' , led her team to the title with 30 points and 9 rebounds.
This was a game of ebb and flow, as Texas A&M in the first half, only to see it wiped out by a 21-6 Notre Dame scoring streak to end the half. One of the key players for the Irish in that first half stretch was Devereaux Peters, to close the frame.
Notre Dame held a seven-point lead with 16 minutes left in the game when the Aggies all-American Adams began to assert herself in the paint. A&M erased the deficit, but the Irish wouldn't go away.
Skylar Diggins, who , hit a jumper with just under four minutes to play, tying the score at 66. But an Adams layup and a by Tyra White with just over a minute left sealed the deal for Texas A&M.
After scoring , Adams said to Fox Sports, "I wouldn't let my team lose."
