Cruise ship fire: A fire on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship forced more than 3,000 people to report to evacuation stations before the cruise ship fire was extinguished.

A聽fire聽has been reported aboard a Royal Caribbean聽cruise聽ship聽that was on its way to the Bahamas.

According to聽cruise聽line's statement on its website, the聽fire聽occurred on the mooring area of deck 3 about 2:15 a.m. Monday aboard the聽ship聽Grandeur of the Seas and was quickly extinguished.

Miami-based Royal Caribbean says the 2,224 passengers and 796 crew members had to report to evacuation stations but that all are safe and have been accounted for. The聽cruise聽line also says the聽ship聽still has full power. No major injuries were reported.
