Dolores Huerta, the co-founder, with the far more recognized Cesar Chavez, of the United Farm Workers, is the subject of Peter Bratt鈥檚聽documentary 鈥淒olores.鈥 The documentary presents a comprehensive, if slightly聽hagiographic portrait of this mother of 11 who took on the agribusiness industry and still remains active in her 80s.

Her social activism often left聽her children, some of whom are interviewed, in the lurch. It鈥檚 a聽contradiction the film could have more sharply explored. Grade:聽B (This movie is not rated.)
