Virginia campground tornado kills three
Virginia campground tornado hit the Cherrystone Campground at Cape Charles, Virginia. At least three people were killed by the possible Virginia campground tornado, according to officials.

A possible聽tornado聽swept through a聽Virginia聽campground on Thursday, killing at least three people and injuring five, a fire department spokeswoman said.
The storm hit the Cherrystone Campground at聽Cape Charles,聽Virginia, overturning three cars and an a tractor-trailer, said聽Brittney Eder, a spokeswoman for the Eastville Volunteer Fire Company.
"So far the count is three," she said of the death toll.
The storm pummeled the area about 100 miles (160 km) south of Washington at the tip of the Delmarva Peninsula with heavy rain, hail and high winds, Eder said.
The injured were taken to a hospital. Rescue workers from other fire departments are also at the site, she said.聽
