An about-face in reaction to sexual harassment

Regarding the Dec. 7 Monitor Daily article 鈥Franken resignation shows Democrats鈥 line in the sand鈥: No woman should have to put up with unwanted sexual advances, either verbal or physical, even though such behavior has been prevalent for decades. The old adage 鈥渂oys will be boys鈥 will no longer suffice. Women have had to walk on eggshells, in fear of losing their jobs for reporting sexual harassment. But we have now witnessed an about-face. Hurray for women, who have risen to the occasion and come together in efforts to put an end to sexual harassment. And remember, the sum of us is stronger than any individual alone.
