Fox News talk show host Glenn Beck is hosting a major "Restoring Honor" rally in Washington this weekend. Described as a non-political event, the gathering will feature a wide range of speakers, from Sarah Palin to Dr. Alveda King.
One of the intentions of the gathering 鈥� held on the same site and date that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his "I Have a Dream Speech" in 1963 鈥� is to "reclaim the civil rights movement." As Mr. Beck put it: "This is going to be a moment that you'll never be able to paint people as haters, racists, none of it. This is a moment, quite honestly, that I think we reclaim the civil rights movement. It has been so distorted and so turned upside down. It is an abomination."
