Secret menu? While McDonald's position is that there isn't an official secret menu, it is true that customers can have special orders and alterations.

During a recent , an anonymous McDonald鈥檚 manager from Glasgow revealed that customers can order a range of food hacks from a secret menu, including the extravagant 鈥淟and, Sea and Air鈥� burger.

The manager, whose Reddit name is聽OrchidHibiscus :

鈥榊ou聽can聽order from the 鈥楽ecret Menu.鈥� Just like with any of our sandwiches, you can add, remove or change ingredients by special request. These are called 鈥榞rill orders鈥� (i.e. Big Mac no pickle)

The items on the 鈥榮ecret menu鈥� weren鈥檛 invented by anyone officially at McDonald鈥檚, it鈥檚 just a random persons guide to burgers you could potentially 鈥榟ack鈥� at McDonald鈥檚.

Order one and the workers might not know it by name (i.e. Land, Air and Sea burger or the McGangBang) but if you explain what it is, and are willing to pay for all the ingredients, it鈥檚 just another 鈥榞rill order鈥� that we can make up.鈥�

McDonald's however, says that there is no official secret menu. "Actually, our customers are pretty clever when it comes to customizing their orders with our menu items, so you may have seen some of their creations online," on its website since at least 2014. 聽

"But," the company goes on, "we have no official secret menu of our own."

鈥淲e do not have a secret menu at McDonald鈥檚 UK. That鈥檚 because we love the food that we serve in our restaurants and we don鈥檛 want to keep it a secret from our customers," . The company however admits that, customers can ask for alterations. 鈥淎ny requests for extra items or changes to our products are considered at the restaurant manager鈥檚 discretion and any additional items may be charged for.鈥�

Secret menus in major chain restaurants have become more widespread and a lot less secret in recent years, thanks to fans who share the information on online in forums and at sites like hackthemenu.com,聽reported 海角大神. 聽According to the report, chains will publicly deny the existence of secret menu items while quietly encouraging people to go ahead and order them.
