If you鈥檝e already brought your 2011 or 2012聽聽or Dodge Durango in for a repair of the headliner or vanity mirror, you might need to have it done once again.

The recall is a subset of the one聽鈥攖hat one聽covering a wider range of vehicles, including the 2013 and 2014 model years鈥攊n which the wiring within the sun visor might short-circuit and potentially cause a fire if the headliner or vanity mirror have been serviced.

Even though the issue only previous pertained to models that had previous headliner or vanity-visor聽, the previous precautionary fix introduced a spacer with wire guide.

The Supreme Court has given Trump early wins. Now, it has to explain why.

In this revised recall for 2011 and 2012 models, in a recall campaign not yet posted to the federal聽聽portal, a new adhesive is used for the repair to help secure headliners and help keep the wiring from being in contact with surrounding surfaces that are potentially abrasive.

FCA US is not aware of any injuries or accidents related to the issue, which pertains only to聽聽produced prior to September 2, 2012.

The issue itself is rare, affecting an extremely small subset of vehicles that have already been serviced under the previous campaign.

This new recall affects 352,831 vehicles in the U.S., as well as 26,487 in Canada, 13,037 in Mexico, and 84,330 elsewhere in the world.

FCA spokesman Eric Mayne noted that more than 700,000 vehicles聽by that earlier recall (affecting about 895,000 vehicles globally) have been serviced at this point.
