Why Apple TV could be a huge, huge hit

Apple could redefine the user experience in the living room, according to one analyst. The fourth-generation Apple TV is expected to launch on Oct. 30.

If there's one company that could redefine the user experience in the living room, what company would that be?

Angelo Zino, senior industry analyst at S&P Capital IQ and SNL, said if any company can do it, it's聽.

CEO Tim Cook on Monday told an audience聽at an event hosted by聽The Wall Street Journal, that聽Apple will become the "foundation" of TV.

Said Zino: "Overall the new hardware and operating system, on both ends, it appears that they're doing a great job with initial efforts. This is just the start of better things to come."

Zino added it won't be a needle mover for the company right away, but it would be the start of bigger things to come.

"Siri capabilities overall will help the user experience, and on the operating side, Apple has the best app developers in the world. So expect great apps in the living room," Zino said.

Fourth-generation Apple TV is expected to launch on Oct. 30.聽Apple didn't immediately respond to CNBC's request for a comment.
