'Pitch Perfect 2' actress Anna Kendrick will release a book in 2016
Kendrick recently starred in the musical movies 'The Last Five Years' and 'Into the Woods' and was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her work in the film 'Up in the Air.'

Actress Anna Kendrick will reportedly write a book of essays, to be released in 2016.
The book will be released by Touchstone in the fall of that year. Kendrick will talk about 鈥渕emorable moments from her life,鈥� according to the .听
鈥淚'm excited to publish my first book, and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I'd like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which I embarrass myself," Kendrick said of the upcoming project in a . Kendrick has starred in various movie musicals, including this year鈥檚 musical film 鈥淭he Last Five Years鈥� and the 2014 movie 鈥淚nto the Woods,鈥� which was adapted from the famous Stephen Sondheim musical of the same name. The actress also starred in such movies as the 2012 comedy 鈥淧itch Perfect,鈥� which centered on college a cappella groups; the 鈥淭wilight鈥� movie series; and the 2009 film 鈥淯p in the Air,鈥� for which she earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination. She is set to appear in a sequel to 鈥淧itch Perfect,鈥� which will be released this May.
