'Mortdecai': The books by Kyril Bonfiglioli come to the big screen

With the upcoming release of the film 鈥淢ortdecai,鈥 the book series by Kyril Bonfiglioli is heading to the cinema.
Bonfiglioli鈥檚 鈥淢ortdecai鈥 books were first published in the 1970s. They follow Charlie Mortdecai (Johnny Depp in the film), an art dealer who is married to Johanna (actress Gwyneth Paltrow) and often accompanied by his manservant Jock (Paul Bettany). The books detailing his adventures include 鈥淒on鈥檛 Point That Thing At Me,鈥 鈥淎fter You With the Pistol,鈥 and 鈥淪omething Nasty in the Woodshed.鈥澛
The movie also co-stars 鈥淭he Newsroom鈥 actress Olivia Munn, Ewan McGregor of 鈥淎 Million Ways to Die in the West,鈥 and 鈥淭he Grand Budapest Hotel鈥 actor Jeff Goldblum.
The bumbling Charlie Mortdecai reminded Lionsgate chief executive Jon Feltheimer of a classic movie character.
