鈥淕rey鈥檚 Anatomy鈥� and 鈥淪candal鈥� creator Shonda Rhimes will write a book for Simon & Schuster that will be released in 2015.

In a announcing the book, Rhimes struck a humorous tone, saying that 鈥淪imon and Schuster is crazy for giving me a book deal, as I am clearly in no position to be handing out wisdom. I have made a lot of mistakes as a single mother, and as a working mother, and as a sleepless mother, and as a dating mother. And I did all of it while running a bunch of TV shows. So I'm going to write about that and hope my kids don't use it against me in therapy later.鈥�
According to the , the book will center on Rhimes鈥� family life as she also works to succeed in the world of TV.
Rhimes is the creator, executive producer, and writer for the ABC series 鈥淕rey鈥檚 Anatomy,鈥� which is currently airing its 10th season, a 鈥淕rey鈥檚鈥� spin-off 鈥淧rivate Practice,鈥� which aired from 2007 to 2013, and 鈥淪candal,鈥� which is currently airing its third season.
