Ron Burgundy will write a memoir
Ron Burgundy will be the name behind a book titled 'Let Me Off at the Top: My Classy Life and Other Musings.' Ron Burgundy is Will Ferrell's alter ego in the 2004 film 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.'

As San Diego anchor Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) tells his co-worker Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), 鈥淚鈥檓 kind of a big deal.鈥
So it should surprise no one that Burgandy is penning a memoir, which is set to come out Nov. 19. The book will be titled 鈥淟et Me Off at the Top:听My Classy Life and Other Musings.鈥
Burgandy鈥檚 memoir will be released by Random House. The newsman said he is 鈥渢oo close to the work" to accurately state whether it is "the greatest autobiography ever written," but "I will tell you this much,鈥 he said in a . 鈥淭he first time I sat down and read this thing ... I cried like a 鈥 baby. And you can take that to the bank.鈥
The book will include inside stories on Burgandy's co-workers (portrayed in the movie by actors Paul Rudd, David Koechner, and Steve Carell), his dog Baxter, and his love life.
The 2004 movie starring Ferrell is getting a follow-up this winter, with 鈥Anchorman: The Legend Continues鈥 scheduled for a Dec. 20 release. As noted by USA Today, Washington, D.C.鈥檚 Newseum will also host an exhibit dedicated to the fictional news team, which is scheduled to open Nov. 14.
