Iranian Kurds reported hitting Iranian troops

Iranian Kurdish guerrillas are striking at Iranian troops from mountain bases behind Iraq's front line in the Persian Gulf war, Iraqi military officers reported. The officers said Baghdad was backing Kurdish demands for greater autonomy from the Tehran government. But they insisted that the well-armed Pesh Merga guerrillas were not fighting under Iraqi d irection.
