Austria has decided not to sell 100 light tanks and 300 machine guns to Chile. Cabinet ministers voted against the deal after hearing a decision by a presidium meeting to the Socialist Party that political misgivings over the deal outweighed possible benefits in securing jobs for Austrian workers.
