Rosie Ruiz loses marathon title

Rosie Ruiz, the first woman across the finish line of last week's Boston Marathon, had her title taken from her Tuesday by race officials, who found the evidence overwhelming that she did not run the full 26 miles, 385 yards. Jacqueline Gareau of Montreal was proclaimed the official winner of the women's division.
