What will women do with the 鈥70s?On Aug. 26, 1920, women of the United States won the right to vote. On that date, 50 years ago, the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified by the last state and became the law of the land. This newspaper, founded 12 years earlier by Mary Baker Eddy, advocated ratification.
