Republican Roy Blunt beat Democratic candidate Robin Carnahan in the race for Republican Christopher Bond鈥檚 seat. Sen.-elect Blunt represented Missouri鈥檚 Seventh Congressional District since 1997 and has served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Taking all but two counties in Missouri, he won by a 13.7 percentage point margin.
