In the open race for Republican George Voinovich鈥檚 seat, Republican Rob Portman defeated Democratic candidate Lee Fisher. Mr. Portman has previously worked in White House positions, represented Ohio鈥檚 Second Congressional District, and worked as director of the Office of Management and Budget. He is endorsed by the National Right to Life and Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.
