Chris Coons won the seat in the highly publicized race against Republican tea party candidate Christine O鈥橠onnell. Ms. O'Donnell became a campaign sensation after video surfaced of her admitting to have "dabbled in witchcraft" as a teenager. Mr. Coons beat O鈥橠onnell by a 16.6 percentage point margin. He previously worked as in leadership positions in New Castle County in Delaware.
