That, combined with a compelling narrative, will make Cain a fast favorite among voters, says Broussard. 鈥淗e can say, 鈥業 worked my way up just like your average guy out there.鈥欌��
Of course, Cain鈥檚 business experience, both in the private sector as a successful CEO and as a chairman of a regional Federal Reserve Bank, is of particular value in an economy-centric campaign.
鈥淣o doubt, his main point of emphasis is going to be on the economic side, playing up his business and banking experience,鈥� says Hagle.
As a tea party favorite and the rare black voice in a party that has struggled to attract minority support, it鈥檚 no wonder Cain is catching on with conservatives.
