That, combined with a compelling narrative, will make Cain a fast favorite among voters, says Broussard. 鈥淗e can say, 鈥業 worked my way up just like your average guy out there.鈥欌
Of course, Cain鈥檚 business experience, both in the private sector as a successful CEO and as a chairman of a regional Federal Reserve Bank, is of particular value in an economy-centric campaign.
鈥淣o doubt, his main point of emphasis is going to be on the economic side, playing up his business and banking experience,鈥 says Hagle.
As a tea party favorite and the rare black voice in a party that has struggled to attract minority support, it鈥檚 no wonder Cain is catching on with conservatives.
