The 2011 HBO series based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy series includes a female character named Ygritte, who is a Wildling (the series' term for those who live beyond a large wall that separates the country of Westeros from the north country beyond it). Ygritte (Rose Leslie) meets and falls in love with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), a member of Westeros's Night's Watch, a fighting force who the wildlings view as enemies.
The character of Ygritte is known for her signature line, "You know nothing, Jon Snow." In an interview in , Leslie remembered going out to dinner with a friend and saying, "I don鈥檛 know what I鈥檓 going to go for." The waitress, having recognized Leslie, quoted Ygritte's catchphrase at her. "It was very funny," Leslie said. "It was perfect timing."
