'Zero Dark Thirty:' White bean & artichoke heart salad with rosemary

Whipped, The Blog
In a busy world, there's always time for a fresh, easy, simple salad. Try this one for lunch.

We don't really have a recipe that says "Pakistan compound," to evoke the ambiance of "Zero Dark Thirty." But this simple dish is made with flavors common across the Middle East.

1 can white beans

1 can artichoke hearts

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

1 tablespoon finely diced red onion (optional)

olive oil

salt & freshly ground pepper

Open the beans and artichoke hearts. Drain the beans and rinse them. Add drained artichoke hearts (don鈥檛 rinse them). Sprinkle rosemary and onion over top. Drizzle with olive oil. Use a fork to gently toss and mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper.
