Daughter to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and Victoria鈥檚 Secret model Lily Aldridge, Dixie Pearl was born June 21, 2012. She is the first child for Ms. Aldridge and Mr. Followill, who married in California in May 12, 2011. 鈥淪he鈥檚 our angel!鈥� tweeted Aldridge.
Her name has roots in the South as seen in her parents' choice of 鈥淒ixie,鈥� which was the title of the Confederate anthem. (The word 鈥淒ixie鈥� is believed to have come from $10 notes issued by a New Orleans bank stamped with the French word 鈥渄ix,鈥� which means 10.)
