Born on July 30, 1979 to musician Frank Zappa and Adelaide Gail Sloatman-Zappa, the little Diva was named for the "loud quality of her voice. She's audible at 300 yards,鈥� Mr. Zappa told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune in 1980.
Diva wasn鈥檛 the only one in the family given a unique name 鈥� her three older siblings are Moon Unit, Dweezil, and Ahmet.
