So what inspired them to name their baby with a synonym of robber or outlaw? In a SPIN interview, Mr. Way spoke of how My Chemical Romance loves the 鈥渃lassic, late 鈥�70s鈥� vibe in their music. SPIN then speculated that Bandit Lee was possibly named after the 1977 flick 鈥�Smokey and the Bandit.鈥�
