Kristin Chenoweth will be unable to return to 'The Good Wife'

Kristin Chenoweth had a planned multi-episode arc on the show, but the actress said she would focus on recovering from a head injury.

Kristin Chenoweth is temporarily unable to complete her planned multi-episode arc on the TV show 鈥�The Good Wife鈥� after being injured on set.

鈥淚t is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to 'The Good Wife' at this time," Chenoweth said in a . "Getting better slowly and thank you everyone for your concern.鈥�

Chenoweth will still be featured in the fourth season premiere, which will air Sept. 30. She said via that she hoped to return to the show when she was able after recuperation from her injury.

The actress was struck on set by a piece of lighting equipment that was shaken by wind.

On 鈥淭he Good Wife,鈥� Chenoweth will play a reporter who was digging into the story of Julianna Margulie鈥檚 Alicia and Chris Noth鈥檚 Peter, who are separated on the show.
