滨迟鈥檚 that E3 attendees will get a look at never-before-seen footage of the newest installment of the Assassin鈥檚 Creed series. This time around, users will play as a part-English, part-Mohawk Assassin named Ratonhnhak茅:ton as he maneuvers through the Revolutionary War. (He is also known as Connor Kenway, ancestor of Desmond Miles, the series protagonist who goes back in time using advanced memory technology.)
Assassin鈥檚 Creed III, scheduled for Oct. 30, leaps away from the previous chapters of the series, which highlight romantic locations like Italy during the Renaissance period and Constantinople, capital of the Eastern Roman Empire. So far, video game developer Ubisoft has only released three short trailers, all of which show Kenway battling Redcoats. But Ubisoft has said that 鈥渘ot all British colonists will be cast as evil oppressors,鈥� .
We have a feeling that whoever鈥檚 side Kenway will be on won鈥檛 include the Templars 鈥� who, according to the fiction, traded with the Native Americans in New England and imparted their beliefs on the Founding Fathers. (Hmm鈥�)
