Azerbaijan and Armenia are set to sign a deal in Washington.
President Trump is hosting a summit meant to help end nearly four decades of conflict and reopen key transportation routes, while allowing the United States to seize on Russia鈥檚 declining influence in the region. The White House said the two nations will sign an agreement to create a major transit corridor that will be named the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity.听That route will connect Azerbaijan and its autonomous Nakhchivan exclave, which are separated by a 20-mile-wide patch of Armenian territory.
