Las Vegas comes in at number nine on the ranking, and its growth in the gig sector is reflective of an improving picture for the state overall. Nevada鈥檚 economy has been showing modest increases since 2014, according to the UNLV Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In the last five months of 2015, Nevada as a whole added an average of approximately 1,266 jobs per month, and its economy continues to grow back to its pre-recession size, albeit slowly.
