'Serena': A trailer for the star-studded movie adaptation has arrived

The movie adaptation of 'Serena' by Ron Rash stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

A trailer has arrived for the movie adaptation of Ron Rash鈥檚 novel 鈥淪erena.鈥�

鈥淪erena" was first released in 2008 is set in 1929 and tells the story of married couple George (Bradley Cooper) and Serena (Jennifer Lawrence) Pemberton, who attempt to create a timber business in North Carolina. However, the couple鈥檚 relationship hits a snag when Serena learns that George previously fathered a child with a woman named Rachel Harmon (Ana Ularu).

The movie co-stars Rhys Ifans of 鈥淓lementary鈥� and 鈥淭he Girl鈥� actor Toby Jones.

Cooper and Lawrence previously starred together in the 2012 movie 鈥淪ilver Linings Playbook鈥� and the 2013 film 鈥淎merican Hustle.鈥� Both were nominated for Oscars for both movies.聽

鈥淪erena鈥� will be released in the UK on Oct. 24 but does not yet have a US release date.聽
