This young adult sci-fi story follows a female space pirate on a rescue mission with an all-female crew. 鈥淚 prefer my wizards to my aliens,鈥� Christina Erickson, general manager of Off the Beaten Path in Steamboat Springs, Colo., says, but this sci-fi book is an exception, offering well-written and fully developed characters and a not-so-far-fetched plot.
