"Gulp" writer Roach examines war from a scientific point of view, addressing questions such as why uniforms are designed the way they are and which marine life are truly the most dangerous to soldiers. "She has such an interesting mind," Nelson says of Roach. The book discusses "all of these weird, interesting little things... she's amazing."
