Piazza says Bonds was nearly impossible to pitch to because he had no weaknesses at the plate and could hit the same pitch out of the park that he didn鈥檛 seem to care for when it was previously thrown. 鈥淏arry Bonds was the most dominant player I ever played against, and the most complete I鈥檝e ever seen,鈥� Piazza writes. 鈥淚f I could have swapped uniforms and been somebody else for a day or two, he鈥檚 the guy I would have wanted to be.鈥�
