2. Anne Coates

Coates was the editor for the 1962 film 'Lawrence of Arabia.'

The film editor remembered doing an interview with director David Lynch when she was interested in working on his 1980 film "The Elephant Man." "[I] was sitting in the outer office and this young boy came out," Coates recalled. "I was about to say, 'Tea with milk and sugar, please,' when he introduced himself as David Lynch. He literally looked eighteen. He was a very unusual character, but I liked him a lot. I loved his determination."
