Born March 31, 1983, Fifi is the daughter of Irish singer and songwriter Bob Geldof and British TV presenter and music journalist Paula Yates.
The two met because Ms. Yates was a fan of the Boomtown Rats, a punk band prominent during the late 1970s and early 1980s, for which Mr. Geldof was the lead singer.
"Fifi" was chosen in honor of Geldof's aunt, and "belle" because Yates wanted one in the family. Yates and Geldof had two more daughters together, Pixie and Peaches Honeyblossom.
