21. Banjo Patrick

No longer just an instrument, Banjo is also the name of actress Rachel Griffiths and painter and printmaker Andrew Taylor's baby boy, born Nov. 22, 2003, in Australia. He was named after Australian poet, journalist, and storyteller Andrew "Banjo" Paterson, who wrote the song "Waltzing Matilda."

Ms. Griffiths, nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in 鈥淗ilary and Jackie鈥 (1998), describes Banjo's accent as "Afro/Carib/Valley or Valley-meets-pirates" because of the family's trans-continental lifestyle in which they frequently fly to and from Australia and New York.
