Bacon plays a former FBI agent named Ryan Hardy who is brought back on the job after a serial killer he helped catch escapes from prison. The killer, Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), has amassed a group of fanatical followers who will do anything to help Carroll succeed in his plot against Ryan. Further complicating matters is the fact that Ryan became involved in a relationship with Joe鈥檚 ex-wife.

The show is quickly approaching the end of its first season, with the last episode set to air April 29, but the 鈥淔ollowing鈥 network, Fox, has already renewed the show for a second season.聽
