A Tulsa apartment fire forced residents to evacuate and damaged dozens of units.
Firefighters responded around 8 a.m. to the Sheridan Ponds complex, where flames were already coming through the roof, displacing about 22 residents. Crews initially entered the building but were forced out as conditions worsened, shifting to an exterior attack. The fire was under control about 90 minutes later. Officials said no injuries were reported, and multiple pets were rescued. Resident David Harris, who lost much of his home, said, 鈥淭hings can go and come, but people, that鈥檚 most important鈥ll my relationships are still alive,鈥� according to News on 6. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
